Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy is drafted in line with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa and applies to all orders placed through our online store.


1. Shipping Method

All orders from Gadgets Galore are shipped using Aramex Store-to-Door unless otherwise stated.

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery is handled entirely by the courier.


2. Delivery Timeframes

  • Estimated delivery time is 5–8 business days from the date of dispatch.

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, courier backlogs, public holidays, strikes, or remote delivery locations.


3. Courier Delays & Liability

While we do our best to ensure timely dispatch, Gadgets Galore is not responsible for delays caused by Aramex or any third-party courier, where such delays are beyond our reasonable control.

This limitation is permitted under South African law, provided that Gadgets Galore has dispatched the order within the stated timeframe.

We will, however, assist customers by:

  • Providing tracking information

  • Following up with the courier where reasonably possible


4. Dispatch Time

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

During high-demand periods or promotions, dispatch times may be extended.


5. Tracking Information

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS.

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Monitor tracking updates

  • Ensure someone is available to receive the parcel


6. Delivery Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery details.

Gadgets Galore will not be held liable for:

  • Delays or non-delivery due to incorrect address details

  • Parcels returned to the courier due to failed delivery attempts

Re-delivery costs may apply.


7. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit:

  • Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery or expected delivery date

  • We may require photos, tracking details, and supporting information

Claims will be handled in accordance with Aramex’s investigation process and timelines.


8. Ownership & Risk

In accordance with the CPA:

  • Risk passes to the customer only once the goods are delivered to the correct address

  • If goods are lost before delivery, Gadgets Galore will assist in resolving the matter with the courier


9. Policy Updates

Gadgets Galore reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time. Updates will take effect once published on our website.
